From the President's Twitter account: @BarackObama "I need all of you to push Congress to on this to-do list."http://t.co/I9MRCCbd

1) Reward American Jobs
2) Expand Refinancing for Responsible Homeowners
3) Invest in Tax Credits For Small Business Jobs
4) Invest in Clean Energy Manufacturing
5) Create a Veterans Job Corps

And nowhere in sight...the Dream Act.

83 days until Summer Recess.

Hey guys,

Overwhelm his twitter account: "What happened to the DREAM Act? Do you give up too easily?"

DA User , the "Before Summer Recess" is my own statement, because after the return from recess in September, two months before the election, pols will only care about re-election.

And please, Obama aplogists, like you, only troll forums like this one, offering nothing of substance or context in the immigration/deportation debate. If, and big if, you are a real "Dreamer", it is very easy of you to sit behind the safety of your computer at all times of day, living in a bubble; but for the thousands of people in detention, in removal proceedings or whom were issued a final order to leave the country by the Obama administration, this is very real. Until now, Obama has been insincere and lying about his "efforts" to pass immigration reform. The prosecutorial discretion memo was created as a ruse to get immigration advocates off his back last year as they were really turning up the pressure. DHS and DOJ both report to the President and the buck stops with him. They continue to target non-criminal people and conveniently, create "criminal" targets out of those that they did go after with final orders of removal so that they don't have to explain the waste of taxpayer resources.

Where is HIS immigration reform bill? HIS supposed list of immigration reform lists legalization as the very last item to do; after every restriction and hardship is enacted to make people's lives difficult while still residing in the U.S. The truth, and I won't name the source where I got this information, is that he has no plans for legislation. His plan is for DHS, under the authority of the Secretary, to implement a registration program which will give temporary status after background and security checks to those who "qualify". But the goalpost of "qualifications" keeps being moved and now you see stories of immigrants deserving of prosecutorial discretion being detained, racially profiled, harassed and deported.

Thank you for this piece of information, this makes my dislike of Obama being further strung up. It is as if we dreamers have no true allies anywhere(besides Durbin).

All this does not matter. Rubio's timeline is what counts. The bill could come out next or in June.

The people who were removed and/or are in detention/removing proceeding have criminal records. Obama's admin deported criminal immigrants. That is the highest priority. Morton memo helps the Dreamers.

We did have CIR bills you do understand that American folks main concern is 'Economy, economy and economy'

Dreamer is whoever qualifies for the current Dream Act legislation - and neither you nor I know if we will be included.

"Speculation cannot be the basis for future or current relief" ~ Obama's DOJ and the 9th circuit panel wrote in Arpil 2010. "It is ridiculous".

Judge Raymond Fisher wrote that decision, and he is the same judge included in the panel who decided to ask ICE if they intended to exercise prosecutorial discretion on those 5 cases with final orders of removal (ie, fugitives) in February 2012. It was viewed as unusual and exceptional, except the DOJ and the court seem to be colluding so as to help the administration get out of explaining the decision to waste taxpayer resources prosecuting these cases and claiming that such policy was "ridiculous", only to turn around when politically convenient and advocate the same exact thing. And no, they aren't going after criminals first, they go after easy targets, ie, Dreamers, hard-working immigrants, long-time residents, mothers, fathers, etc; because ICE's job is to remove people without permission to be in this country.

Working on the economy doesn't prevent Obama from ordering DHS and DOJ to do the right thing administratively; it is called multi-tasking, and we assume that a Harvard-trained lawyer who has the resources and power of the Presidency of the United States can certainly handle that. Your argument that immigrants cannot be protected from prosecution and removal because the economy needs work is moot, and I personally know of dozens of cases involving all of the individual examples I used who have been persecuted by Obama's DHS first and then DOJ in court. You are talking out of your a** and seem, for an adult man/woman of 30+ yrs of age, immature and completely inexperienced in life. Read between the lines.
