if they approve you, U get a temporal rsident card in the mail and with that in your hands u can go apply for a SS to work, driver license/state ID, till it expires.

You mean what do you watch out for?

This is the critical part of the process on if the individual will be given an approval or given an RFE[Request for Further evidence] concerning their application.If the I-821D is approved there should be no issue in having the I-765 approved at a later date for the EAD!

It should be interesting how the varying Service centers complete the DACA application but I think those sent to Nebraska might be issued the first approvals.

NO, EAD is not the same as temporary residence card.

What was your basis for saying "those sent to Nebraska might be issued the first approvals."? That is a very interesting statement
