I have all my documents copied and ready, just need to fill out the forms.
What I need help with is ideas on how to hold it all together.

I know it has been suggested to use the hole punching at the top of the page but I would like ideas on how some of you have done it.
I'm not sure if I should use clips, paper clips, binders, manila folder, post-it's.

Any pics?
I don't want to send a mess to the USCIS

I'll submit a pic on this thread when I get home. I just used one of those light yellow folders. Stapled/taped like five blank pages and put tabs on the BOTTOM for each exhibit (requirements) and simply put the appropriate proof in each section. I used paper clips for the evidence. Do not staple those pages because it causes massive difficulty for them when they scan your shit. I also had a checklist first showing all contents. Good luck!

Searching:
"preparing packet" delivered nothing.
"prepare" delivered my thread.
"picture packet" delivered a thread with mostly text and another one with vague, zoomed in pictures.

Your response helped noone.
The search feature is only as useful as the thread title's relevancy and specificity.

EDIT: Found something. Creative search term.

I used one of those yellow folder/packets. Used 1 clip for all the forms, then 1 clip for all evidence. Its most likely that they will ignore your organization and brackets. Make it as simple as you can. It worked for me, look at my sig

Well looking at some of the threads where people have had their docs returned, it seems like they just scan them on receipt.
Undoing all the hard work. Better safe than sorry for me >_<

Yeah, also, make sure you put the G1145 in front of everything.

This is exactly how I organized it.

1 clip
G1145
i-821D
i-765
WS
Photos and money order
Put your name behind the photos

2nd clip
All evidence

To stop paranoia, make sure your sign in the correct box on the forms.
