So, for all those who sent their applications early, this is most likely your biometrics week.

Share your experiences, complaints, recommendations and adventures here. Mine is on Friday at 8 AM (The sacrifices one must make lol).

Here has been my experience thus far with ASC appointments.

-Having taken Biometrics before if your ASC appointment is in a city or immigrant heavy population area it could take sometime dependent on the amount of individuals scheduled for that day.Usually it has taken between 5-15 min. in general from my experience.

-Dressing corporate or conservatively for your upper half would be suggested as this picture WILL be on the EAD and I assume will be presented to employers eventually by Dreamers.

-Don't forget to take your picture ID AND the ASC appointment notice as both will be required.

-If it is your first Biometrics allow yourself sometime to find the place where your appointment is scheduled.

-They won't deny you from doing it earlier the very same day from my experience.I have done it 3 hours before my scheduled time.

-You can smile in your photo, lol.

-I find it was cool talking to other immigrants from all over the world and their experience through the USCIS system for different visa or adjustment categories.

-Actual immigration officers usually have a white shirt on with a badge. They usually handle the ID and ASC appointment aspects.

-The number of immigrants who work at the ASC is quite noticeable judging by the differing accents.

-This picture WILL be going on the EAD for 2 years if the I-821D and I-765 are approved.

Great summary brah. Yes definitely you should have a nice collar shirt on and combed hair.
