Ok I did fair share of complaining on this forum about not getting approved esp since I am a Texas Service Center applicant. My fellow dreamers on this forum advised me to be patient. This is mostly guaranteed thing, it just requires patience for those who are not approved. But since November 6th is coming around the corner, I am freaking out a little since either candidate is likely to win. Is anyone feeling the same way I am?

If Robme wins then maybe the service centers will deny or slow down the process since they know Daca will be repealed.

I've been thinking the same, couple of months ago I honestly thought that there was no way in hell Romney would be elected. Now, he actually has a fair chance at it. Now I think that if he does get elected, the process of DACA is going to slow down or stop. But look at my timeline and look at yours. At least you're close to being approved..I had to send mine in October when I had everything ready in August because of financial problems. I give you props for waiting patiently for a month after biometrics..I'll probably go crazy after two weeks. And maybe today or tomorrow you'll be approved..I wish you luck.

Couple things. Romney would assume the office in January IF he wins. Secondly, why are we assuming that once he does take office, he will stop the DACA program immediately? It's very unlikely he would do such a thing. It would cause a massive fallout. Look at it logically. This is something that resulted from YEARS and YEARS of lobbying and grassroots campaigning. You really thing one man will take it down in just a matter of days? I don't think so. Republicans would want to build immigrant trust. Even if Romney becomes President, expect Dream Act/CIR bills to come to the table. This is only IF he wins which is highly unlikely given Obama's lead in Wisconsin and Iowa. I'm hoping Democrats will snatch the house back!

Besides the fact that he doesn't go into office, if he wins, until January, he said he wasn't going to take away something that we already paid for. We should be worried in the long run, he probably won't let us renew and start his self deportation when most of us are back to no status.
