Are there any complications in the application process such as HAVING, to provide a Parent's SSN??

Or is the process as smooth as always?

I was wondering the same thing. Would my mother and father have to go with me to get my SSN?

Hi this is the same application I filled today. The application was provided to me in the office, because it's preferable to fill it in there. Regardless read page 3 for items 9 B and 10 B, for your question.

At the top it says you must provide 2 Documents. On the Deffered Action pdf on the SSA website, it says we need one. what did you use?

Oh and about the process it took me like 1 hr and 1o mins, from I walked in to when I walked out. There was like 12 numbers ahead of me. When I got there I just signed in and got my ticket. Which said to fill out the application and take a seat. You must complete your application before being called. The person attending me was a young female. She was very nice, she only asked me for my passport and EAD. The only question she asked was "when did you enter the U.S?". Then she just transferred my info into the computer. Gave me my receipt . That was all!! BTW I just received my EAD by mail, yesterday.

She only asked me for my passport, but to be safe take your Birth certificate as well.

Oh and, did you do the 10-day wait that was suggested?

No I did not wait the 10 days. I just got approved on tuesday and I go it by mail, just yesterday. I went right away

But like other people mention print out the deferred action SSN flyer and take it. Because the SSN application does say you need two. Not all of the people working there are well informed about DACA, so they might try to give a hard time.
