If I receive deferred action, is adjustment of status an option if I marry my United States citizen fiance?

The link that OP posted basically says that Deferred Action will not guarantee a Green Card if you marry a USC. If you've been granted DA and entered the country legally then yes you can be eligle for permanent residency, if not then no.

DACA will not change your status at all. Only 2 way you can get greencard theough merrige is: 1) If you have legal entry when you came to US. 2) If you have EWI entry then you must qualify for 245i grandfather law. There is hardship waiver for EWI but its not eassy.

DACA doesn't really change much.

If you overstayed a visa, or otherwise arrived legally you will be able to adjust via marriage.

If you arrived without inspection aka EWI (ie. Hopped the fence) then you'd need to request advance parole. Leave the country and try to reenter legally. If they let you in then you'll be able to adjust. If they don't you'll need your spouse to file for a I-601 waiver. If you got DACA before turning 18 and a half then the I-601 won't be necessary.

If you're EWI and you have a deportation order you can adjust only by marriage to someone who is a grandfathered primary beneficiary of an 245i petition. You would also have to go to court to overturn a deportation order.

You know, you don't need to start multiple threads with the same question.

Maybe it's because he's not sure if he's married.. This thread he isn't and the other one he is...
