Hi everyone, since there is a different attitude the GOP posted about DREAM act. I am starting to worry about that. Because I came here just before I turned to 16. I read one of the requirements of DREAM act at the very beginning was the applicant must came here before 16. But on 2011, the requirement was changed to 15.
But now, the DACA requirement is 16....
any thought about this? I just got my DACA approved and waiting for my SSN at this moment.

I am pretty sure that they will follow with the requirements that they have asked for DACA.

Nobody knows the requirements yet for a new Dream Act even if there is one.

If a new bill is introduced this year, I reckon the requirements would be a lot stricter; since Republicans are kind of willing to compromise with Democrats on immigration nowadays.

Ya, sigh, I think they will probably restrict the age to 14, 15 something...

We also need to remember that the Dream Act that we have in our minds will probably not be the Dream Act we receive. The congressmen, lobbyists, and politicians in general are going to try to tweak it as much as they can to please everyone. It is going to be a give and take situation. So, all we can do is wait. There is no need to worry about it now. It isn't even in the horizon, yet.

I think that those that qualified and approved for the DACA will automatically qualify for when the Dream Act passes
