SSN Application Question

Hey guys,
I had a question on applying for my SSN..so I got approved for EAD and DACA and am applying for SSN now. However, so previously I had a SSN (but not valid for work of course). Now..I have a simple question. On the application it asks says "List Social Security number previously assigned to person in item 1" (which is me)
When it asks me that, I am supposed to put the number down?
I'm asking this because I'm not sure if they're asking for me to put down a SSN meaning that it's eligible for work because if that's the case then I should put nothing?

Also, it asks me to Enter any different date of birth if used on an earlier application for a card. Someone please explain this? Lol do people use different bdays or something?

Anyways, I'm a little confused on this one. Any help would be appreciated

you keep your same ssn. They will just change the "not eligible for work" to eligible for work with dhs authorization. So, you write it down.

The ssn had to be yours as assigned to you by ss office.

@flyingagainstthewind - First off, thank you for replying. Second..yes, it was assigned to me, but it says not valid for work. So my question is..does that count as having a SSN?
will that have any impact on my ability to get the ssn or not?

Yes, It does because the social security office assigned it to you. They will just change the wording on it to "valid with dhs authorization." No, it will not impact your ability to get SSN because you will get the same number.
