Mine is scheduled for the 23rd at 2PM in California.

I have some questions if you guys don't mind...

- Are we allowed to just walk in there whenever and ask my bio metrics to be taken earlier? If the specific appointment office won't let me do that, I can just go to a different one and try?

- It's just finger printing right? No "medical" exams?

- How long does it usually take?

you are not really allowed to walk in but you can TRYa walk in. give them your appointment letter and just wait and don't say anything.

it's best to go to the office on your letter less hussle. it's just fingerprinting and no medical exams and should take less that 15 minutes.

hey there I had mine here in Southern Cali too. I personally did not want to go in early because like somebody here said, i was to embarrased to be rejected. So i stuck with my appointment date. But you can TRY and see what happens. I wouldnt recommend hopping from one center to another because you were given that one for a reason. As far a medical there is None whatsoever. Time Wise it took me longer to find the place than the actual time the whole process took place. about 10-15 min.

1)The website says they do not do walk ins but when I went to mine it was so empty I am pretty sure they would have been cool with it if you have school that day, but def go to the one that they told you to go to.

2)It's just a bunch of finger prints and one picture

3)Took me less than 15 minutes, probably less than that!

Oh yeah one more thing!!! I have heard that for SOME people in cali who walked in (different locations than the one I went to which was chatsworth), they did not get approved until their actual scheduled date for bios or later. So maybe it's not even worth the trip unless it's not too far from you.

Just take a look at my timeline.

I walked in 15 days ago and I still haven't heard anything. I'm starting to think they are waiting until my actual appointment date before they look over my application.
