NC driver license

Any dreamer also bummed that you can't get a DL here in NC? Would it be ok to get DL in another state? Because I've been looking and the DMV here is mute. Even after the General A. Said it was ok to give DL.

It is very disheartening, but in the meantime you should at least go get a State ID. The requirements are different.

http://www.ncdot.gov/dmv/driver/id/

This is a much better alternative than carrying your EAD and SS# around with you. Those should be kept home safe where you are less likely to lose them.
