rather than digging for older threads, can anyone who's gotten an RFE tell me how long it normally takes for USCIS to mail you your notice?
Apparently I checked my status on i-821 and this is what it said:

On December 19, 2012, we mailed a notice requesting evidence/information for this case to you or your representative. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the material requested. This case will be held in suspense until we either receive the evidence/information or the opportunity to submit it expires. A new processing period will begin when we receive your response. You or your representative will be notified by that office of a decision or if any further information or action is needed from you. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

I got mines two days after it was issued. Average time is usually a week. Some have taken up to 2 weeks to get thiers.

Took about a week to get a reply after my RFE. That step is very crucial as if you don't provide the information they're requesting, then you will be denied. You want to make sure that you send all possible evidence so you can get approved.

My RFE was "proof of continous residence for the years 2010, 2011 and 2012". So I sent literally like 200+ pages worth of bank statements, Amazon invoices and NewEgg invoices.
