Youths who are granted DACA can apply for “advance parole,” authorization from USCIS to travel outside the US and return. To apply for advance parole, you can submit an I-131 form to USCIS. You must submit a copy of a photo ID with your picture, name, and date of birth (such as your work permit, passport, or driver’s license) and a copy of the documentation of your immigration status (which can be your work permit). With the form you must also submit a money order for $360, made out to “US Department of Homeland Security.” The packet then should be mailed to the Chicago USCIS lockbox:

USCIS
P.O. Box 5757
Chicago, IL 60680-5757

Whatever you do, do not travel outside the US unless you get advance parole. Even if you received DACA, you will not be allowed to reenter the US if you do not have advance parole. In other words, you could end up self-deporting unless USCIS approves your I-131.

Do you think we still need to consult a lawyer for safety purposes?

If you are applying for an Advance Parole Document, you may be eligible to file this form online. You may not file online if your application is based on an approved request for consideration of deferred action for childhood arrivals.

Always trying to bring us down, but at least we have this option.

It is pretty straight forward and easier than the DACA application. All you gotta do is fill in the form, submit the reason(s) why you wanna travel abroad and for how many times and how long, send in copy if ID, send in the $360 fee. If you get denied, then that is all (you wont get deported or get your DACA taken away, you will just lose those $360).

But if you rather pay a lawer $ to do something you can easily do, hey is your money.

The option to apply for advance parole. Not talking about being able to apply online.

Understood. But that option is attached with proper justification. I bet the majority would travel for pleasure and vacation. But at least if someone does have a family emergency, they get the chance to obtain permission.
