Embezzlment record !=\

Ok so I really need some advise before I take legal action. I was really stupid when I was 18. I'm 24 now.
I was caught stealing money from the register of the store I was working at. I won't name the store
But it was a big corporation and I got charged with embezzlement. Complicating part is I was working illegally there and got bailed out before they could ask where I was born n stuff but they still took my fingerprints and booked me. I know if you have a grand theft on your record you get dq'd. But what about embezzlment ?
The judge brought it down to a misdemeanor and all I had to do was give back the cash. .. That is my only offense I have except 2 marijuana possesion infractions and a couple no license tickets from years back but I heard those dont matter. True?...any advise would be helpful. If your just going to say I'm screwed or wait for cir don't waist my threAd.. Once again an advise would help!

What makes you think they won't ask you for that information if CIR passes? It'll be the same thing.

If I were you I'd give it a shot, but there's a small chance you'll get approved.

Just make sure when you apply that you're honest about your criminal record.

So... is NOT your only offence. Anyways, you're welcome to try, the only down side is that you lost $400s. But to be honest, the chance is pretty slim... but I'm not a expert on this, maybe someone else can shed more light on it.

I think CIR will have identical requirements as DACA, they stress on the "good standing character" point when it's discussed.

Anyways, no hurt in trying (expect the money).

well, first of all, you need to find out EXACTLY what you have and maybe get that off your record I forget the term for it but you will need a lawyer. I suggest you get a background check from both the FBI and the state to find out whats on your record.

With the law for years now. But still I feel like this is going to come back to haunt me.
