Hey folks,

It seems like the California center has been transferring people to their "local USCIS office" ( I was one of them) I am starting to think that this isn't like the Vermont transfer in February, where they did it to balance the workload.

I read somewhere that people who were transferred may be candidates for an interview :/

For those who have been transferred to their local USCIS office, did you all have a criminal background ?
I ran a background check on myself before applying to make sure I did not so I don't know why I was transferred to my local office. The only thing I can think of is the fact that I came to the US at age 15 and few months

My application was also transferred from the Cali center to a local office , then it was transferred to the NBC and it ended up being transferred to the Cali center. It has been there for the last 2 months and a half so you should be fine

It was to balance the workload, just like vermont did. I doubt DACA applicants will ever need an interview, they would have announced it or specified it in the guidelines.

Here is the official Alert from the USCIS website: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/usc...00082ca60aRCRD

Thank you for this thread. Good news? I hope we all get approved soon. I do not understand how some sent their applications at a later date were approved before new year's. I wish those who were already approved the best, but the fact that this happened frustrates the hell out of me. It's like we are cursed or something.
