Dreamers with jobs

Can people post successful job stories here? Have early applicants been able to find legit jobs? I've seen numerous posts about people being rejected because of having an EAD [which sucks & breaks my heart!] but are there people here who have had luck with this? Thanks!

Also sorry if there's a similar post to this. I've been on the forums for like a month now and haven't seen anything, but maybe I missed it.

This thread needs to be created 10 years from now...being a stay at home son/daughter to DACA to part time community college + mcdonalds is not a success story bros (though im not saying theres anything wrong with that sequence).

I just work part time at a restaurant as a cashier, it's easy and I get free food. I need to graduate first before I can start a job with my major (I'm trying to get into research). I'm currently trying to get a volunteer job at one of my professors lab to start gaining experience.

Got fired from my first job by HR because I wanted to update my social. Managed to find a warehouse job within 2 weeks. So I guess all went well

yay i'm happy for you guys! I was a little discouraged reading about people getting shit for having EADs. I plan to apply for a teaching credential Fall 2014 so between now & then i'm willing to get whatever job I can so I can just save money.

No issues for me. $80K loving it
