This is a personal friend of mine.....I was not even aware of this until I read it on myspace.......I think this is seriously fucked up......I have no words.......

Hi everyone,
Well something unfornutate happen, if you don't already know, my husband Adolfo Hernandez, was unjustly taken from our home by the police ice. Police ice is a branch of the INS (migra), and their sole purpose is to detain those who are illegal immigrants that have criminnal records. I won't deny the fact that he does have something on his record but it doesn't have anything to do with being a gangmember, drugs, robbery etc. To make it clear he is man who has turn his life around and is dedicated to his family... We both work and when he gets out of work he takes care of the kids in the afternoon, while I go to school. The fact of the matter is that, he is legally here in this country, but is it told otherwise by the INS. We know he is innocent and we are not alone, so many individuals are going through the same ordeal all over this country. The sad part is that the INS is only doing it to the Hispanic, Mexican or Latino community. These type of raides need to stop, families are being separated, lives are being distorted. For once in my life, on that friday morning of October 5, I said fuck the system, but we need to know the system inorder to make it work in our favor. I never felt so disapointed and angy, but we as a community can make change. This friday october 12, 2007 I will be marching along with activist to protest against all of the raids that are going on. Remember...the INS is not only taking illegals but also legal immigrants.... The march will start at 5pm in LA, olympic and broadway...HOPE to see you there....

That is terrible won't he be able to come back since he's legal???

On second thought.. I don't think I can handle the counter-protestors.. I get too angry..

Wow they just had a similar raid in Massachusetts today i was watching the news.
I mean i dont mean to sound "evil" but I think if someone knows they are an illigal immigrant why are you getting involved in criminal behavior???? Seriously i have no sympathy with illigal immigrant criminals/gangbangers/drug dealers etc. I stay out of trouble even if it means my friends calling me chicken, there is nooo way im goin to be found in handcuffs. But if someone is getting arrested just because they are here illigally and nothing else, then thats a different case.

>_< I feel bad for her. I really do.

But the INS is no longer an organization, and for some reason I was just like "oh, puh-lease" when she put "migra" in parentheses.

Something about her story doesn't add up, but I can tell you I feel sorry for her. And also that had I been in California I'd skip school to attend the march.

what happened and where? i do agree that if you don't have papers, you should abstain from crime. it only makes your situation worse.

Well, hell, you should abstain from crime whatever the case...

That's sad, though. We can't tell from the information she gave what it was that he did, but whatever the case it must be terrifying to have them actually come to your home.

Hey, I don't think you sound "evil".
What you wrote makes a lot of sense to me. I also have no sympathy for other "illegal" immigrants that get into trouble, that'a actually the image we need to lose. I think anyone who commits crimes is giving us a terrible reputarion, and gives Alicrap more fuel for their BS.

If you are here illegally or undocumentd, you shouldn't be getting into ANY kind of trouble. That includes murders, DUIs, fights, gang activity and everything in between.

But if we're talking about someone who didn't do anything wrong, and has no crimminal record, I'd be on their side 100%.

Well you can have your green card revoked if you commit a crime. You are suppose to be a good standing citizen.
