SENATOR ALLARD STATEMENT ON THE DREAM ACT
U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard (R-Colo.) made the following statement today regarding his opposition to the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act: “The DREAM Act provides amnesty and an unfair advantage to those who break the law. Granting benefits to unauthorized alien students rewards lawbreakers, undermines our immigration system, and will only encourage more illegal immigration. “The DREAM Act unfairly advantages illegal immigrants over U.S. citizens by allowing states to grant in-state tuition to illegal immigrants while simultaneously denying the same benefit to out-of-state U.S. citizens or legal immigrants.”

Is he illiterate????????? He could at the very least be honest, the version of dream that was brought to the senate floor had no in-state tuition and an age cap at 30 years of age.

Yes, he is illiterate. Or he's a liar. One of those two.

^ He's not running. It's between Schaffer and Udall. Colorado is light blue right now but is going to be true blue in 15 years. It's has lots of environmentalists, high tech immigrants, and Latinos. The rednecks are becoming the minority. I'm going to miss Tancredo in Colorado. In the future I can see a Cornyn type republican winning in Colorado (paying lip service to immigrants while systemically voting against them) without Tancredo around to remind everyone where the party stands. Maybe Tancredo should keep running for some type of office ( the man won't win anything outside his home district) to remind Colorado that the republicans openly embrace him into their party.
