51% of Americans support CIR

I bet sessions and gheene will ignore this poll.

Isn't it what they always do.

I think most Americans do support a CIR.
Though I assume that a large portion of that 51% supports a CIR in which the applicants get back in line of current applicants and wait their turn.
This to me is no solution at all, taking into consideration how large the backlog is and how understaffed the department is that handles this matter.
Maybe I'm not understanding the argument being made. I wouldn't mind waiting at the back of the line atlong as we get some work authorization, in conjunction to paying fees, back taxes, community service, etc....
What's the point of being in the same situation for another 10-15 years until the current backlog clears up?

Huckabee Fires Back at Romney on Immigration

Little Rock (AP) - Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee is firing back at fellow contender Mitt Romney over questions about illegal immigration.

Huckabee suggests the former Massachusetts governor wants to keep immigrants working on his lawn.

Romney criticized Huckabee over his plans to offer tuition breaks for children of illegal immigrants while serving as governor in Arkansas. Huckabee, appearing on Fox News Channel, said, "I guess Mitt Romney would rather keep people out of college so they can keep working on his lawn." A story by The Boston Globe last year said four employees of a lawn company servicing Romney's suburban home were illegal immigrants. A spokesman for Romney said at the time that the former governor was not "knowledgeable" about the allegation.

A new poll shows Huckabee in second place among Republican candidates in Iowa, and making up ground on Romney.

I love Huckabee he is a great man. He better beat Romney at the polls. I think Giuliani or Huckabee would make great presidents. At least Huckabee is honest.
