The Daily Show knocks it out of the park

The show is in Austin this week so the first part starts with joking about Austin's immigration problem - Austin's population has been growing but they've been too short-sighted to upgrade their roads and other infrastructure so traffic is worse than much bigger cities with larger populations. Also, Austin, while a fun liberal city has become really snobby lately which is saying a lot given how much they were already in love with themselves.

Anyway, after that joke, they get into real immigration talk and in particular, Latinos. I guess given some of my comments about Mexicans on here, some of this is directed at people like me too, but notice how none of these Mexican-Americans weren't flying Mexican flags like some of our undocumented brothers so I still think I'm half right.

Well of course they wouldn't. Why would they feel they need to have pride of a country that isn't there's in the form of waving flags?


I guess waving your countries flag meant as a way of saying you're from that country as a representative function. And its fine and all but when suddenly 1/3 of people in rallies are waving their flags. Basically you're just saying we are invading
