Hi, I'm a fellow DACA and I was wondering if there were any news about DACA people being able to become citizens?

Also if not, what are the ways for a visa overstayed person to become a citizen?

Lately I've felt as there is so much more I can do in this country but my status keeps holding me back. I've been depressed and want to life a happy life not a miserable one.

Please are there any new news?

Marriage to a US citizen will grant you a greencard and eventually apply for citizenship. You can't get employer sponsorship if you overstay your visa.

Y would you even say that am a living example and am sure there are more that being illegal aint a problem. Just make sure if in the future ur married that you came legally in the states or else wont be possible to get green card and citizenship. Good luck

Fuck that man, we're still human. Don't put yourself down and don't feel sorry for yourself. Keep living your life as best as you can, eventually things will get better.

thanks for the support...

I do have bachelors but wanting to go to grad school but it requires citizenship for this program...

people think it's easy being us when it's really difficult...

Who wants to be illegal? we were brought here when we were kids and even if we want to go back, there is no starting point for us even in our country to birth.

I just hope all dreamers succeed wherever you guys are.. and hope mine is well too.
