I did my biometrics on August 25th for renewal and my permit expires this October 27th. What am I supposed to do? I'm freaking out because I'm working and I have a job interview tomorrow as well and I'm scared they will notice the expiration date. It's my last week, so I'm panicking.

When was your application received? I would call USCIS immediately and let them know.

With how many months in advance did you send your renewal request? There might be some help available if you applied within the time frame USCIS asked us to.

I made a service request on Monday 4 days ago and also opened another case to have an officer call me which hasn't called me yet to see if I can get temporary EAD . I also emailed Ombudsman 2 days ago, I faxed my congressman Luis Gutiérrez yesterday begging him to help me, I emailed the Texas Service Center about my case 4 days ago, i also emailed William P. lujan today who is the director of USCIS, and as you can see, I have done it all and I'm pretty sure all of them will tell me to wait. I'm expiring soon and my job just told me I can't go to work on Monday if I don't have an EAD. This is really messed up. I also made an INFOPASS appointment for next week on Tuesday but I'm not sure if I should even show up to their office with an expired EAD and DACA. ah.. I'm pretty sure a lot of you are going through what I'm going through and it's depressing to say the least. I really need to pay rent, bills, etc.. I'm going to have to work illegally again which sucks because I'm going from a good salary, to a minimum wage labor job. I have no choice, otherwise who's going to pay for my rent or bills? It's obvious the gringos don't like us, otherwise we would have gotten an amnesty already. They denied a Dream Act amnesty for us knowing most of us are bright, educated, and pretty much grew up here in this country as babies/kids. I'm really sad because I had finally accomplished my dream of working for a tech company as a computer guy and now I'm going back to labor jobs in warehouses next week :'(

Good luck! Mine expires on the 29th. i asked for an expedite on 10/10 and was told that was not an option, but that they are carefully monitoring expiration dates. i called again this week and asked to speak to a supervisor because i'm about to expire very soon. he was quite apologetic and put in another expedite request and said they will get back to me this coming Monday. keep us posted on your status!!!

How did you talk to a supervisor? I couldn't even get to them because the reps want to help me by reading a script off their computer instead.

I asked the rep to transfer me to a supervisor. It was about an hour wait.

Oh okay, I just called Luis Gutiérrez office in Washington DC and the girl that answer was nice and friendly. They received my fax, and she said she was going to have someone call me soon.
