Now that DACA is expanded to older Dreamers, I am going to start preparing so that I will be ready when they start accepting application in 90 days.

I am sure these questions have been asked before, but I couldn't find the answers here.

My questions are, as a proof of continuous residency, do I need to send in copies of my utility bills FOR EVERY SINGLE MONTH that goes back 5 years? Should I erase my account # with the utility company?

Another question is, is bank passport good enough to prove continuous residency?

Any input is appreciated!

Utility bills are great proof. Blocking out the account number is up to you, but I, personally, wouldn't alter them in any way. I also would not rely solely on utility bills to prove continuous residency. You can also include any online shipping receipts and bank statements. IMO, they're better at showing you're in the country and at least using your account in the US.

Anything official with your name and dates works. For proof of being here on June 15th 2012 I used an invoice from Amazon for a cable that cost me $1.19. For the period of June 2007-present I used school/college records.

Utility bills work well. Medical records work well. School records work well. Even paychecks work well (working illegally does not prevent you from getting DACA). You can leave minor gaps, however if you are able to produce a bill for every single month I'd say that there's no harm in wasting some more paper.

Also note that you need to prove continuous presence from either:
January 1st 2010, or
Before your 16th birthday
Whichever is earlier.

So essentially if you're 36 now you'll need to prove that you were here for over 20 years.

Fressh, Demise, Thank you so much for your inputs!

I have I-94 card from when I was 13, which was the last entry into the US. I have high school diploma, and I think I can find some college transcripts (I couldn't finish college due to financial hardship)

Is downloaded bank statements and Amazon receipts work as well? I don't have paper versions (the ones you get in the mail). Also, my bank statements show my POBox address instead of my residence. Would that work as well?

If they accept blank renewed passports as proof (meaning there are no entry/exit stamps in them - all pages are completely blank), I can provide proof of continuous residence for more than 20 years!

When I first applied, I submited a copy of my I-94, a document for each year for example my college diploma for one year, college transcripts for four years, dental procedure receipt and so on. I also submitted notarized affidavits from my US Citizen family members attesting to my presence here in the US for all those years in order to help fill in the gaps. Additionally I took Freshh's advice on the day that the Executive Action was announced in 2012 and drafted up a letter stating my presence in the US on that day and notarized it. I also shopped at a big retailer and used my card to ensure that my name would be on the receipt.

That's what we're including for my mother's package and that's what I used for my original DACA application. You can include the documents with the P.O. box address. However, I would include documentation from the post office proving that the box belongs to you.

And like Demise said, anything that has your name and US address is good proof.
I included copies of my I-94, as well.

Thank you, Everyone! I really appreciate this.

Reading your replies made me thinking... So basically, I have to prove that I have been in this country ever since my entry when I was 13? Until yesterday, I thought I just needed to show I came here before the age 16, show I have unlawful presence as of 11/20/2014, and then prove continuous residency for the past 5 years, not the past 20 years...

The more info the better. Just gather every single doc you have.I came in at two so I showed them my kindergarten worksheets elementary grades high scool grades and diploma. After words was tricky but then I used marriage certificate, rent stubs, landlord letter of recamadations. Phone bill, detailed copy's of bank statements and I think that was it. Just take a day to grab Everything you have nd copy them then organize them by date. Then if you need more surcharge everywhere. Also you need a copy of your birth certificate and fully translated.

Heres what you need to do

Show proof you got here before 16
- immunization records showing date,
- school report cards
- class pictures
- medical bills
- graduation certification

Show proof you have been here continuously for the pass 5 years
- Anything with your name and date
---Bills with your name
--- eBay/amazon recipts
--- bank summaries for months
--- facebook post showing date
--- school forums
--- school schedules/reports

Do not send a 300 page package, try to make a concise package that is straight to the point. For example, instead of sending every single report card of grade school, send 1 page that shows all years grades. My schools did that when I requested my records. So I just send them 1 page that cover all the years I was in public school.

For bank statements, I figure why give more than they need so I went to my banks and just got statements summaries for a year

Awesome! This is what I thought! Getting a summary from a bank is a great idea.

Just to clarify, I am in mid 30s, came here when I was 13.

I hope I don't have to show proof for the past 22 years because that would be humongous. However, I can certainly prove my continuous presence for the past 5+ years.

I have:
- I-94 card that proves I was 13 at the time of entry
- valid passport to show my identity
- high school report cards / diploma
- college transcript
- bills/receipts/rent invoices with my name for the past 5+ years

Is there anything else I am missing?
