You thought your parents screwed up your life by not fixing your immigration status when they could have? This girl claims she was born in the US and has no record of being born here. I don't think she even qualifies for DACA!

HA! theres a better one. Theres a bunch of cases in border towns of lots of USC people who were "born" through midwife in the earliert 80's who are now being told they are not USC because of a big group of midwives (some who are dead) who are being investigated for fraud.

I think that would be the worse case scenario. Living your whole life as a USC and now being told youre not.

I know when Texas changed their DPS offices into immigration checkpoint offices by requiring proof of citizenship, there were some older people who had never seen their birth certificate who had problems too but I guess when you're a white grandmother, the supervisor makes the judgement call that you must be a citizen.

I'm sure with this girl, there will be a kind lawyer that will come to her rescue and get a court order to get the parents to show their citizenship and sign something or another but it is interesting that all this anti-immigration nonsense is turning into some friendly fire too.

It does suck. The video is pretty viral now. I'm sure it'll get resolved.

This comes to show that we have created this system. She said her delay birth certificate was denied for insufficient evidence. *rolls eyes* For a stupid piece of paper you have to go through all this nonsense. I tell you!

Yeah, it's hard to be off the grid and then try to get in.

Someone write her and invite her to be an honorary dreamer!

What's sad is that she wouldn't even qualify to be a dreamer because most dreamers have a birth certificate. She can't even prove she exists, there's no record of her anywhere.

lol as far as the planet earth is concerned, she doesn't exist. She's not just a girl without a country, but a girl without a planet. Seriously, we should have her be our spokesperson. It'll be great publicity...I mean how screwed up is one's immigration status if WE feel bad for her?

Now THAT'S low of the low.

Trust me, since she's entitled here she's going to find a way. Last update is that a pro-bono lawyer is helping her out. BUT if this was seriously one of us-dreamers we would be criticized and told to go back to where ever we came from. So, I wouldn't feel that bad for her.

If that was me, I'd go before an immigration judge, and be like "welp, throw a dart at a map cause I have no clue where the fuck you can deport me to".
