Has anyone been able to land a job a public accounting firm with DACA? And passed the HR part of the deal? I got a job at a public company, but not at a public accounting firm and once I graduate I will move to Public....

I've applied to a couple of small CPA firms and had my resume forwarded by old college buddies to Big 4 and large national firms. I've still had no luck getting an interview so far. I'm hoping it's only because it's not recruiting season and not the fact that I've been out of college for 3 years.

Why not begin applying in the early summer so you can be on a team for year-end audits? You'll get a tremendous amount of experience.

Hi all, since I found a job in early february in the private sector, I stopped looking for public accounting jobs. However, after a bit of experience and debating, I have decided that I want to leave industry and go work in either IT audit or audit.

Has anyone found a job in a midsize or big 4 firm? Anyone had any issues with work permit time limitation?

Cheers

Were any of you able to land a job with mid-size/big 4 firms? I am going to get my bachelor degree this semester and I am wondering if it is possible to work for them with DACA.

worked for a big 4. They have SEVERAL people on visas working for them. They don't care as long as you are "legally" work.
