USCIS has accounted for over 99 percent of the approximately 2,600 identified invalid work permits requiring return. Twenty-two of the approximately 2,600 recipients failed to return their work permits or certify good cause for not doing so by the deadline of July 30, 2015. As a result, those 22 have been terminated from DACA.[

Let's hope they already had their green cards and couldn't be bothered. Otherwise, they done messed up.

Maybe 15 of them were out of the country, while 5 of them have been living under a rock, and 1 of them got run over by a car, while the other one moved to the country side where he doesn't watch the news and doesn't know what's going on

This is a good estimate. Another possibility being that was as what IamAman said, that they already got their green card or are currently undergoing AOS and as such DACA is worthless to them.

I understand that some of us have to return it but does USCIS really have to terminate DACA for those who did not? Why not just invalidate their card and issue them a corrected date one? After all, it was USCIS that dun goofed. Though $500 is a small amount of money, all of us still paid for it.

Not being ungrateful but I am just saying.

They would have been in contempt of court if they didn't.

What would they do? Arrest the entire agency?
