Hi all,

Quick question. I was approved for an advance parole to go to Chile to present during an academic conference. Now, my advance parole document has my First Name, Middle Initial and Last Name (just like my DACA document and work permit), while my passport has my First Name, Middle Name, Last Name and Second Last Name. Do you guys think the fact that I'm missing my full middle name and second last name in the parole would give me issues when trying to re-enter the US through Customs? Any comments, past experiences are very much welcome.

thank you!!!

I'm not quite sure if it will give you any issues. I guess as long as you have other documents that show both ways you use your name I think you'll be ok. I doubt they'll keep you out for having an extra surname. My lawyer did tell me to use my full two last name name when applying to immigration for anything precisely to avoid something like what happened to you. Not sure if it's a little too late for you but I suggest you do the sane

Hi, thanks for the reply. Did you go through the same? Do you know someone who went through this? I'm sorry for the insistence, but I'm pretty nervous about the fact that small detail like this one can keep me out of being paroled back in the US.

Thanks for your time
