I have what could be a potential issue looking for recommendations. i was granted advanced parole. the reason was for visiting my grandmother she was sick. i got it granted i am scheduled to go to mexico next week. the issue is that a month after being granted AP my uncles arranged for my grandmother to be flown to us to get surgery done. as you can see that puts me in a situation of having advanced parole granted in which the person to go visit came to usa.

Does any one have any idea if it would be an issue with me being allowed back to us after visiting mexico? the reason for filling the advanced parole originally was for legitimate reasons. i was unaware of the plans to bring my grandmother to usa for surgery. my grandmother is now back in mexico. i am greatly concerned with customs looking into my grandmother name on the computer and seeing that she was just in the usa

I thought surgery would be cheaper in Mexico?

Does anyone have a valid or recent timeline for AP? USCIS received my AP application (second one, I had traveled last year as well) on May 11th and I am waiting to hear.

Has anyone gotten an approval for a second AP on here?

You requested AP to humanitarian reasons: to visit your sickly grandmother. Though she went through surgery in the US, she is still sickly and back in Mexico. So, you'd be going there to visit her still. There won't be an issue; you're going to the same Country for the same reason you were approved.

My case number didn't show up for a week. I am able to check the case status now.

I bought my plane ticket for July 7th. I am keeping my fingers crossed. This is my second AP. I applied on March 6th last year and it was approved on April 6th, but I didn't get a notification until April 8th.

I am hoping that it will get approved soon like it did last year. Worst case scenario, I will consider making an infopass appointment and attempt to request an "emergency AP". I've heard of few people on here who were able to obtain one successfully.

One thing I am concerned about is if I would be able to make an appointment time for the next week. I am not sure if you have to wait long for an appointment.

I hope you get approved soon, please keep us updated!

Also, what processing center is your application in? Mine is in Nebraska, however, I had my previous AP processed in Texas last year. Not sure why it is different this time.
