Hi guys!

For those who went thru renewal delays, what did you guys do??

I submitted my renewal on time early in July and my current one expires 12/1/2023. I already submitted an online request outside of the normal processing timeline.....it's still " Being Actively Reviewed" for more than 105 days now. I tried to contact USCIS, but couldn't get thru. Any ideas on how I can get ahold of someone there?

Please help, I am in the verge of losing my job. And yes, they are already asking.

Thanks

Did you submit your renewal online or via mail?

There's not going to be much you can do. They won't expedite via a request from you. They will just feed you bullshit to get you off their back. You might want to contact your congressional rep or senator and see if their office can do something.

I did it online and got a receipt notice the same day. 3 days after, my case changed to being reviewed. No RFE, no biometrics needed (status says completed). Just been stuck in “decision” status since July.
WTF?!

try contacting your senators, congressman or ombudsman. write them a brief message with your evidence and ask then to help contact USCIS for you. Also, try chatting with someone online with USCIS and keep calling.

Unfortunately, when this happened to me, I just had to wait it out. I tried contacting my Congressman and all other parties but nothing helped....

You can try asking for a leave of absence from work; that is what I did...

maybe use a medical excuse or something if they need it.

Get help from your Senator/Rep's office. They usually have an online form on their website where you can submit your case details. Trust me. They can get it done very quick. Don't waste time and do it immediately. Once you contact them and send them the details via the form or by e-mail, you need to call their office to confirm they got it. Be on them aggressively and they will take action.

I would recommend you call USCIS and ask them why it's taking so long.

+1-800-375-5283 use code word "INFOPASS" to get to a live agent.

Then post back what they said.

I called them today and was told refugees from war torn regions are taking priority and that I can't really request them to check anything since my case is still within the 90 days.

I'm interested in hearing what they will tell you since you are past 90 days

Hey did you check the document section? I was checking mine and it shows in the main page the same thing about being reviewed but when I went to check on the document section the approval letter was there with the new period and all.
