fidel castro finally steps down.

I read somewhere that his brother might be the next leader. It's going to be quite interesting to see who their next leader is going to be. When I get my green card Cuba is definitely going to be on my vacation list, they have some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen (in pictures).

Raul will probably be his successor. It's so weird how Castro managed to get that type of power to think that he started out with just a few guys on that dreaded Granma.

I'm no expert here but I love how these revolutionary "socialist" parties/governments aways have these monarchical-ish heredity hand over of power...

Kim Il-sung -> Kim Jong-Il

Fidel Castro -> Raúl Castro

The more things change the more they stay the same.
