I crossed the border illegally on July 2, 2007 at the age of seven, making me disqualified for DACA for being 17 days late. I meet all the other requirements, except "You have resided in the United States since June 15, 2007", however, the USCIS website says,

"Affidavits generally will not be sufficient on their own to demonstrate that you meet the guidelines for USCIS to consider you for DACA. However, affidavits may be used to support meeting the following guidelines only if the documentary evidence available to you is insufficient or lacking:

Demonstrating that you meet the five year continuous residence requirement; and

Establishing that departures during the required period of continuous residence were brief, casual and innocent.

Would I be able to twist the truth a bit and be approved for daca?

I think someone gave you the wrong information. The requirement is that "you have resided in the United States since June 15, 20012." Not 2007.

Trac3rt is incorrect, on that link it clearly says on the right column.

Quote:
As of the date you file your request you:

Have resided continuously in the U.S. since June 15, 2007;
Had come to the United States before your 16th birthday
Were physically present in the United States; and
Are in school, have graduated from high school in the United States, or have a GED; or
Are an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States
As far as your question, did you enter the US without inspection? Is there proof that you did, in fact, enter the US on the date you specified?

Do you have any evidence that you were here from June 15, 2007 to present-day?

Supporting documents, report cards, HS diploma, etc etc is what matters here. They won't care for "he said, she said". Must provide proof, if you can then you are eligible to apply.

Good luck.
