I recently got married a month ago and hubby and I decided it's time to file. I haven't change my address yet and we have no joint bank account etc. So, we are really newlyweds. We don't know the adjustment process and would like to hire a lawyer. Also, anyone know that typical cost?? I'm an visa overstay and pretty sure my case is straight forward. Thanks.

Before going with a private lawyer try a non profit like Casa de Maryland or Catholic Charities. Their lawyers are more affordable.
