Question on Bio Appoinment- Doing a walk in

Hey guys!

I had a question for those of you that have done Bio- Appointment walk ins. This is going to be my 4th DACA renwel. I have never attempted to do a walk in before, but because of my busy school and work schedule, I really want to attempt one.

What have you guys said to the security at the front? Just wanted to see what has worked or might not work!

I expire October 25th 2018. I sent my 4th renewal Feb 2nd. Received Feb 6th. Accepted Feb 13th. Bio Appointment for March 16th at the Atlanta Georgia office.

Tell them that you have school that day and you rather not miss class. Depending on how busy they are, they may let you in. I’ve done walk ins on all my appointments.

Just go in and tell them you are unable to make it on your assigned day. Out of the 4 times, I've done 3 walk-ins with no problem being turned away.

Then again, I am pretty charismatic and charming so things just work out. Smile, ask them how they're doing, don't act nervous. Confidence is key. A few weeks ago I did my bios, walk-in, I was talking to the security guys and girl about the Superbowl. We spoke and had a good laugh for about 5 minutes.

I didnt say anything the las 2 times I walked in. Just gave the appointment letter to the security guard who stamped it and told me to wait in line. Although this last time I was turned away because they were short on staff and were not allowing walk ins. The manager offered to reschedule me to an earlier date, but I decided against it and came back on my scheduled date.

Walked in recently at the Seattle ASC. Didn't say anything, just gave the lady my letter and she stamped it and had me wait with no fuss.

My advice is to just own it and go along with it. If they can't accept walk-ins that day they'll let you know.

My appointment is for 3/8/2018. I walked in on 3/1/2018, the security guard had to get a manager's signature for me to do it. Maybe it was because I was a whole week in advance. I did a walk in about 5 days earlier last time and everything was fine.
