Sadly no. I don't think that change is going to occur unless we get a new more equal rights friendly administration in the white house.

The answer would be be no because this is a State Supreme court ruling & immigration matters are always Federal.

If the Federal rules under DOMA[Definition of Marriage act] could be changed,I'm sure it would be more than possible for same sex marriages to apply for their partners under the immigration rules.I also don't think it would require a constitutional amendment in order for the immigration rules to apply for same-sex marriages as well.

There are immigration rights in many countries for same-sex couples such as Australia,United Kingdom & Canada.

I have my boyfriend in Canada, but I'm scared of the 10 year ban, not the mention being undocumented in the U.S. and trying to adjust in Canada is a huge risk. Apparently Canada's decision on granting residency is greatly influenced by your status in the U.S.
