So,
This morning I am awaken to find HS representatives in my house to check on evidence about my case. For 2 hours they had me doing copies etc while they questioned my dad about our status and what not...

Im pretty worried about this, they didnt say anything about deportation or what not just that they would report back to immigration and we should gather up more evidence until the deadline specified on the paper they left us so that it can be presented....

Comments?
Ideas?
Help?....

I don't know what to tell you. Its pretty bizarre to have government agents come out into the field to check on the merits of an immigration application. What kind of case do you have?

I don't understand, what kind of evidence were they looking for? An I-140 is a petition for an employment visa. Its really bizarre that they were at your house instead of the place of employment of the employer who petitioned for your father.

There is nothing sensitive or critical in an I-140 application. You might want to contact your lawyer, this is really unusual for DHS and could indicate that they found something relevant to national security in your father's application.

Do you have a lawyer? I really don't know what to tell you but I think having a lawyer is a good idea.
