Social Security Card

Did anyone else receive a new Social Security Card when y’all renewed your permit this year or am I the only one? I received a new one in the mail. Same number just the date at the bottom reads 3/15/2018. I didn’t request for a new one.

Wow, this is the first time I hear this. I have gotten three permits up until now, and I have not gotten a new social security card nor has my brother.

Does the card still have the same print about "not for employment without EAD"?

Lol on the form it asks if you want a ssc to be mailed to you with the i-765 form

Yes everything is the exact same thing as the first one that was given to me.

I’ve renewed it 3 times with the same lawyer that helped me do my first one and this has never happened. Maybe she checked off on it by mistake.

I should clarify that my permit and the new SSC were mailed separate.

I didn’t fill out the form. I had a lawyer do it. The same lawyer that did mine since day 1.
