Does anyone know when we can start applying for advance parole again? I had seen a thread awhile ago that said we could possibly be able to use advance parole again. Not sure if it was just a rumor.

There is a D.C.D.C ruling that states that either the government comes up with a better reason or they reinstate DACA (completely). The order is suspended for 90 days which puts the effective date at end of July.

The government might appeal, D.C. Cir might issue an injunction (or not), who knows.

Interesting, I want to go to Tijuana.

A Mexican who has been so long away from his homeland, of Alta California, and Tejas, finally returns to his homeland and becomes horrified.

I just noticed that the uscis DACA website removed the language saying advanced parole is not available. It states to refer to the FAQ's for the most up-to-date policy on AP. Could this mean it is available again?

I-131 instructions also seem to say that you can seek AP under DACA. I guess someone should file and see if it bounces or not.

I noticed that too. That’s why I was asking. Who knows!

that would be awesome news actually. I wonder if that's the case - I needed to travel to europe for work. Website kind of alludes to them changing the policy.

"Once USCIS has approved your request for DACA, you may file Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, to request advance parole to travel outside of the United States. If you travel outside the United States without first receiving advance parole, USCIS will automatically terminate your DACA.

USCIS is currently updating its policy on granting advanced parole for DACA recipients. Please check the Frequently Asked Questions for the latest guidance."
