me and my girl finally locking it up! We have been dating for almost 7 years and I think its time. We have been engaged sinced the beginning of the year lol..

For those that have already filed for their green card, could y'all possibly guide me the steps I need to take? I dont want to use a lawyer. I dont think my case is complicated enough that I have to get one.

Recently I just got my new EAD card in the mail. Reason I filed because I did not want any gaps in between that I may end up loosing my job.

Anyhow, I am planning on filing it the following month after we get married. We currently do not live together at the moment.. The reason why because we wanted to wait until we got married.. Is that gonna be an issue if I do file?

Well, it depends on a lot of factors, but the first thing a lawyer would ask is:

Was your last entry to the US legal or without inspection (EWI)?
How long have you been in the US?
I'm assuming you have DACA now. How old were you the first time you received DACA?
