They're just asking me to fill out a form for a background check. I know people often will say to just go underground before the dust settles but I care for a fam. member (he's a citizen) I'm just probably being paranoid sending my info. (drivers license, address) to the dep. of corrections and rehab. Will it do anything?

Any DACA recipients visited friends or fam. who is in jail? Would you advise against sending information, why or why not?

They just check to make sure you’ve never been in jail

You gotta do what you gotta do, at the same time tho, don't be surprised if they take you in. Anything goes nowadays. I respect your priorities but know just because it makes sense that they do not do anything to you, doesn't mean they won't. Not locking up children seemed like a no-brainer to me. Yet here we are.

Id say nothing is going to happen to you. But if writing down your info is going to keep you awake at night it isnt worth it. Atleast for me
