hey guys I was wondering about starting an ebay business. I don't think this has come up before...

lf I get a ITIN number is that enough to start an ebay business and pay tax with it? Or do I need an actual social to have a business on ebay?

I had a similar idea yesterday. I had thoughts of playing with stocks, cuz i think it's fun to play with them. It's a game to me. I am a risk taker anyway. So i tried to set up an account with Scottrade yesterday and wasn't able cuz of no ssn.

But today an agent called me and said i can create an account with merely an identification and itin. so i was like "sweet!" And ima go create the account next week..then the money should start rolling in

You can sell items on amazon.com also. They only ask for a credit card [not sure if you can use a debit card], and they have a fee.

You have to stop saying such optimistic things. Scottrade and TD Ameritrade are online brokerage accounts where you trade stocks. They don't guarantee any sort of performance or return. Performance depends entirely on the market and the person trading stocks. Plus, these brokerage accounts have fees which degrade any return. TD Ameritrade, for example, has a $10 commission for every trade. So you're paying $20 in commissions every time you trade a stock.

If you say such things, people are likely to believe you, especially some of our newer or younger members.

well, nobody should play stocks until they know the fundamentals of it. plus, we all know there's no free money in the world.
