Good morning everyone,

Has anyone gotten sponsored through work?
If so
1. What was your qualifications
2. What was your job title
3. How long did it take

I am thinking of getting a second job to get sponsored, Does it need to be full time?
What do I need to have under my belt qualification wise IE bachelors degree etc

I do have 245i

Yes it is enough, but not very practically possible.

I would imagine very few companies are willing to sponsor someone with just a Bachelors.

My company only sponsors people in certain high need roles and you need at Phd.

Another route is that I know some people work for agencies the agencies will sponsor if you have worked for a long time for a given company and the given company you work for likes you enough for that.

Usually though you would need a master's at least.

Bear in mind you will be competing with 1000s of foreign people fighting for a green card if they have higher credentials then they will be sponsored.

My opinion is that you need at least a master's to make it feasible.

Don't you have to step out of the country for that? That's the reason I haven't pursued it if I remember correctly.

Well lets just say I may know someone who owns a company and might be willing to.
