hey, you can actually get a RN right now if you want to. BSN will be tricky... Lanedearhope explained to me that if you don't have social security number your junior year in BSN program that you can't continue. I confirmed with my local state colleges and it was the same story.... Which sucks because if you have BSN you can go to any country and pretty much get a job. I will be starting my RN program January, hoping for Dream to pass before I graduate.

wait I saw your profile picture on that Dream deferred blog, are you that sayuri jane girl?

It has nothing to do with having a ssn, it has to do with proving that your either a legal resident or an american citizen. You have to show proof that your legally suppose to be here, some international students dont have a ssn and there able to get their BSN.

I took the exam and I don't have a SSN, anyways that was about a year ago. They have a new rule if you dont believe me check it out yourself, the rule is that they wont allow you take even take the exam if you cant prove legal resident.

holy crap... are you serious. Wow I am so screwed if Dream doesn't pass next year. What's the point of getting RN degree when I can't get a RN license, let alone take the exam. I am already pissed off about not getting a BSN and not having a bachelors degree. Why did they change the rule all the sudden and does it vary depending on states?
