Does USCIS still require Biometric appointment during this pandemic ?

How are you ! All
My current DACA expires on 4/21/21. sent out my renewal application on 12/22/20.
Wondering if USCIS still require bio during pandemic . I heard some people got approved without doing biometric

Yes they are starting to do biometrics. I'm in California and they sent me my appointment for Jan 19. Not for DACA though.

I also sent my renewal on the 22. I got a letter saying that they are going to reuse my biometrics.

All support centers are not doing walk-in biometrics because of Covid restrictions. USCIS sent an e-mail about it a few days ago. They are reusing biometrics when applicable by law. If you do need to do biometrics, it will be by appointment only.
