Democratic leaders had to haggle their way to passage, committing to moderates that there would be a vote on the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure plan by Sept. 27.

if the $1.2 trillion "bipartisan" bill passes first, there is 0% chance the $3.5 trillion passes. then its done, finito, gg's.

Pelosi low key caved to corporate conservative democrats by giving them a Sept 27th deadline to vote on the "bipartisan" bill which already passed the senate.

Unless they vote on September 15 for the reconciliation bill

What comes next

But now comes the hard part, as House and Senate committees fill in the details about how to spend the money.

House Budget Chairman John Yarmuth, R-Ky., set a Sept. 15 deadline for 13 committees to return legislation specifying how to spend the $3.5 trillion. The budget resolution protects the anticipated legislation from filibuster in the Senate, allowing a simple majority to approve the legislation in each chamber.
