I just discovered a horrible mistake I made on my DACA renewal in 2016

I haven't seen a thread like this on DAP so I figure it might be worth sharing and may even be of some benefit for those who experience excessive anxiety while their forms are being processed.

Don't ask me how exactly it happened, but when I filed my 821-D in late 2016 I somehow changed my original Part I answer to "Initial Request" and this error was never corrected before I sent out my packet.

Yes, my renewal packet had a critical error on it when it landed on USCIS' footstep in Chicago. No. it did not get rejected, nor did I get an RFE. In fact, I was never even told about it and only just found out myself while glossing over my earlier forms.

While the processing of that renewal packet took about 6-7 months, in the 2016-2017 period that was nothing out of the ordinary, with multiple people (who likely were more careful) waiting longer than me.

Long story short: I made a huge mistake, USCIS did not think much of it and managed to figure it out on their end and process my renewal packet.

Honestly it wouldn't be that big of a deal. If they were to not correct the mistake on their own they'd either return it to you or give you an RFE to ask you to clarify the inconsistency where you'd just give them a corrected I-821D.
