If they reuse biometrics, is your renewal case approved faster?
Is there consensus on this?

hmm... not really... might be a bit faster but not significantly.

Mine was reused and approved in a month. My previous expiration date was March 2022. After reading all the horror stories about slow approvals, I sent mine in with 6-month lead time. Well, now I lost 5 months on this renewal cycle lol.

For me it was approved less than 2 months. They reused it then after 2 weeks it was approved. I lost 4 months

Yes it's definitely faster, as soon as two weeks and as long as six but still faster.

My case was received 10/18, and my card went into production on 10/27. Is this a record? Lol

How long do the reuse biometrics for now? My most recent ones are from like mid 2018.

I just reapplied and they are going to reuse my biometrics. This is the second renewal that I don’t have to go in

I don't think anyone really has the answer to this.. Some people experience long delays while others got approved within a month. no one knows why.
