So...assuming DACA goes away and we are left in the shitter. How do people live without DACA? I lead a six figure lifestyle at this point and Im pretty sure I wont be able to sustain it without DACA. I dont even know how to find jobs under the table. Yall got any tips? I have a kid born here already, so I would be looking to survive for at least the next 15 years or so...

cut your expenses as much as you can while you have that income, save like an animal until the fate of DACA is sealed and when SHTF go buy a property and if you can assets in your home country and live like royalty with those savings over there.

it actually is the most viable way to retire now even if legally here since its pretty much not worth retiring in the US anymore. you dont even own your home in the US. dont pay those property taxes and see what happens.

If DACA is cancelled then wouldn’t it be replaced with Dream Act?

I was in hs before 2012, so I always benefited from Daca. Family is all legal already. I'm the only one who remains lol, so I have no clue how people find jobs under the table

I'm probably gonna take advantage of the skilled labor immigrant visas. Republicans think we're gonna be returning to dirt shacks, or somewhere into poverty. That this is their way of getting back at us. They actually think this. Mexico isn't even really all that bad if you have skills and connections.

If you are born anywhere in Latin America, you could probably qualify for that 2 years to Spanish citizenship and become an EU citizen with all the perks that entails. I certainly wouldn't mind actually getting something in return for my taxes.

Or you could move to Australia and fight it out with their housing crisis.
or New Zealand which also has sensible immigration policies.

Not Canada though since their housing crisis is worse than America, and they pay too cheaply for the work that I do.

What I am saying is I am strongly considering taking these skills that Americans have partially paid for with their taxes, and time spent educating me, and using them in an economic competitor.

CN, NZ, AU, UK, IR, JP

Who even knows where I could end up? I am not against living in more exciting and exotic places. I don't want to lose my connection to the country where I was raised, and where I consider myself to be american, but I am also pragmatic and willing to sever that connection if situations change. And if the situation were to be forced, I am not going to lose it all as so many republicans think. If anything, it would be a much needed kick in the rear.

Vs.

A boring life wasting time waiting for a congress that is more preoccupied with war in two nations, than with its own internal affairs. Its been 20 years congress wheres my fix?

candil de la calle, oscuridad de su casa

Get your house in order.
