Another plan being prepared by the Biden administration would streamline the process for so-called DREAMers and other undocumented immigrants to request waivers that would make it easier for them to obtain temporary visas, such as H-1B visas for high-skilled workers, the sources said.

bruh....If they allow DACA's to get H1B that would solve it for me immediately. At this point I consider it false hope though

It would open up another path, but H1B is a lottery system, so no guarantee to be picked. Higher chance if you have an advanced degree.

h1b for academics (i.e., tenure track positions) is cap exempt and would be great...
