Mexico is closing to irregular migrants

They are closing places for migrants. Venezuelan, Haitan, Honduran are being cleared out of shelters to make room for Mexican returnees. Given 60 days to leave the country. People waiting on the excuse to wait for their immigration appointment. Entire families. Mexicans are no longer donating to keep some centers for migrants open.

They are even sending Mexican military to close the borders with Guatemala. Apparently the mass migration is even causing shelters to collapse from resource strains.

Some shelters are closing due to crime due to a murder of a Nicaraguan. Frictions increasing between foreigners and Mexicans. Foreigners even using the streets as a shelter. Its getting so critical in Mexico that the venezuelans are even wanting to return to venezuela if the Mexi government pays them a ticket. But the president said the US would fund the return tickets.

Mexico is actually harder on foreigners than the US is, the US is kind and nice for the most part. But in traditional north american government fashion, lots of reports to the police result in no government action.

Trump has only been in office for 1 week and already changes are happening in Mexico. Damn. The entire continent is reorienting itself.

I think if you integrate yourself by knowing the language, and working a job where you make enough to provide for yourself, it should be enough to let you stay somewhere. As a Mexican, I would be open to letting these migrants stay if they meet those requirements.

But its one of those things where they cant let you come to try out, you have to be a proven benefit before you come to the country. Otherwise itll be abused by economic migrants.

Man, its a tough situation going on in Mexico. Tough everywhere on this continent.
