Anyone know or have much information on New Immigration Rule Form G-325R?

I received an email from an immigration email list stating that "This registration requirement goes into effect as of April 11, 2025."

It looks like DACA recipients may not be required to fill it out because Form I-766 (EAD) constitutes as evidence of registration.

Anyone/everyone else that's been here over 30 days need to submit the form regardless of status.

From everything I'm reading online and all these updates it's beyond clear to me that they don't want us here, they want to deport anyone/everyone that wasn't born in the US and even then I saw articles of residents, citizens (natural born or otherwise) being detained and held in centers. I am absolutely hating it here right now.

I understand your need for an answer, but there is a designated place for these types of questions. This place is already struggling with maintenance as it is. And no we do not need to register, so please refrain from panicking. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Meh, after thinking it through. I think it was worse during the bush era. They aren't even rifling through trash cans like they used to back in the day.

I sent them feedback on this regulation but of course they ignored it.

They are trying to kick out everyone legal or illegal BUT they haven't said peep about us even though they have all of our info. It's on purpose. I'm curious about what they will ask in exchange for us. It is bigger/more expensive than the wall for sure. They are saving us for last, so it has to be big. Increase the debt ceiling? The tax cut bill? Complete immigration overhaul that is awful for everyone but us?

Once they hit a dry patch with the easy pickings deportations, they will come for the DACAs.

Exactly, so once the easy picking convicts and other out of status folk dry up they’ll go for the easy picking DACAs.

They are híper concerned about the numbers, they want to keep them high for show.

They already hit the dry patch, stopped announcing their cooked and padded deportation numbers. That's when they went for the CHNV people. In the mean time the plan is to try for tax payers.

My forecast is they'll be doing a deal with us included and maybe overhaul the system and make it much harder but if it slips into after midterms we might not get any regularization. Or if we do they might have to be bipartisan.

Too early for meaningful forecasts. It's like seeing the weather 4 weeks out.

They dont have to. Daca will be killed off by SCOTUS in time. Trump doesnt need the political blowback from killing protections for the most sympathetic group when he can blame Democrats for their inaction when they had power once Scotus pulls the plug.
He can then use that opportunity to offer a path for us which at that point might gain him some political points. Then everyone will remember him for being such a nice president for providing dreamers with a solution, and not for all the deportations happening. Hes taking it straight from the Obama playbook.

SCOTUS nuking the program might be the best outcome for all of us. This would put us back in the headlines and Congress will be forced to address the issue whether for better or worse.
